Job summary

Singapore Swimming Club in Singapore is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard members, guests, and staff, maintain a safe environment, and support a welcoming atmosphere at all entrances and facilities.

You will perform day-to-day security duties, manage access, respond to emergencies, and deliver professional service, with rotating shifts including nights and holidays. A positive attitude and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education with at least 2 years of relevant security experience.
• Valid Security Licence and completed WSQ RTT (mandatory).
• Comfortable with desk duties and basic computer use.
• Prior training in CERT and First Aid (AED) will be an advantage.
• A positive attitude and good service skills.
• Able to work on rotating shifts, night duties, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day security duties across the Club.
• Ensure members, guests, and staff comply with Club Rules and Policies.
• Manage access control at main entrances and other key duty points.
• Provide warm, professional customer service to all members, guests, and visitors.
• Conduct staff and membership checks when required.
• Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies (e.g. fire alarms, first aid situations).
• Patrol Club premises and report any irregularities or safety concerns.
• Monitor and maintain smooth traffic flow within car parks and driveway areas.
• Record and update all incidents in the security occurrence book.
• Work closely with your team and support supervisors in daily operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management to ensure the safety and smooth running of the Club.
