Job summary

voco Orchard Singapore, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, seeks a dynamic Security Manager to lead the Security department and safeguard guests, staff and assets.

You will oversee risk assessments, manage CCTV, alarms and access control, train the team, investigate incidents and coordinate with local authorities for emergencies.

Eight years in security leadership, a valid PLRD license and fluency in English are essential; rotating shifts including nights are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in security management or related field.
• At least 2 years in a similar role in an international hotel chain.
• Valid PLRD License and CERT SMC certification.
• Fire Safety Manager, First Aid, CPR and AED certification is a strong advantage.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit with good stamina.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security department operations and staff.
• Coordinate with Police, Civil Defence and authorities.
• Develop training and coaching for the security team.
• Maintain security systems CCTV, alarms, and access control.
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Lead emergency response planning and drills.
• Maintain records such as incident logs and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Provide first aid during incidents when needed.
