Job summary

TikTok Pte. Ltd. seeks a security-focused professional to join the BRIC team, protecting ByteDance users and platform integrity across TikTok, CapCut, Lemon8, and Lark. You will apply advanced AI and ML to detect threats, research underground ecosystems, and counter adversaries through proactive risk management.

The role emphasizes threat intelligence, adversarial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to continuously enhance risk detection and defense capabilities at a global scale.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of underground ecosystems and adversarial behavior with ability to analyze business risks.
• Familiar with Android/iOS/Web reverse engineering, mobile application security, abuse and cheating techniques, or related adversarial attacks.
• Understand web/mobile application and system vulnerabilities, their principles, detection methods, and remediation approaches.
• Stay informed about offensive and defensive security techniques and trends.
• Be proficient in core risk control strategies and analyze adversarial behavior to evaluate defenses.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python/Go/Java/C/C++/JavaScript) and basic data analysis/mining skills.
• Demonstrated ability to correlate information across data sources and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth Underground Ecosystem & Threat Intelligence Research on adversarial groups, industry chains, and attack trends.
• Analyze illicit tools, cheating software, and attack techniques to strengthen defenses.
• Investigate adversary attribution, threat monitoring, and intelligence-driven risk identification for proactive warnings.
• Perform adversarial simulation and security assessment to test defense effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve risk detection, mitigation, and control capabilities.
