Michael Page International in Singapore is seeking a Security Engineer to implement and maintain security protocols and systems across the organisation, safeguarding assets and data.

The role requires at least 3 years in cybersecurity operations, hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR, IDPS, WAF, and cloud security controls, plus strong collaboration, problem-solving and documentation skills in a regulated financial services environment.

Job Description
  • Implement and maintain security protocols and systems to safeguard organisational assets.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, managed security services, infrastructure security, or related technology risk functions.
  • Monitor and analyse security incidents, responding promptly to mitigate risks.
  • Practical experience supporting security technologies such as email security, IDPS, WAF, anti-malware, attack surface monitoring, certificate management,vulnerability management, SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security, or cloud security controls.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure configuration practices, incident response support, threat detection, vulnerability management, access control, logging, and security monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of scripting or automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on security best practices and awareness.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance system protection.
