Job summary

Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Security Consulting Practitioner to deliver advisory, assessment, and project delivery for enterprise clients with a focus on Microsoft Purview, data security, and information protection.

You will lead security projects, conduct current-state assessments, design future-state solutions, and guide clients on cloud security adoption using Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years IT and cybersecurity experience.
• Strong experience in Data Security, Information Classification, Information Protection, and DLP.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of leadership, management, or client-facing security consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex security projects from planning through implementation and post-go-live support.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and implementation plans.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients.
• Conduct client workshops, technical presentations, and training sessions.
• Prepare technical documentation, assessments, solution designs, and recommendations.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on security assessments.

Security Consulting Practitioner – Microsoft Purview / Data Security

Location: Singapore

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Security Consulting Practitioner with strong expertise in Microsoft Purview, Data Security, Information Protection, Information Classification, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

The successful candidate will provide security consulting, solution advisory, assessment, and project delivery support to enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Security Consulting & Compliance

• Apply security best practices and frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS Controls.

• Support compliance with relevant data protection and regulatory requirements.

• Provide security guidance for Information Classification, Information Protection, and DLP solutions.

Solution Advisory & Strategy

• Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Purview capabilities, data security, governance, and information protection.

• Conduct current-state assessments, gap analysis, and future-state solution design.

• Develop security roadmaps and recommendations to improve clients' security posture.

• Advise on cloud security adoption and Microsoft security technologies.

• Translate complex technical requirements into practical business solutions.

Project Leadership & Delivery

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• 10+ years of IT and cybersecurity experience.

• Strong experience in Data Security, Information Classification, Information Protection, and DLP.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of leadership, management, or client-facing security consulting experience.

• Experience designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise security solutions.

• Experience in security assessments, gap analysis, solution design, and strategic recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• CISSP
