Job summary

Job description

• Own trade execution quality, including order processing efficiency, execution accuracy, anomaly detection and handling; ensure front-office trading operations meet internal risk control standards and MAS regulatory requirements.
• Monitor client trading activities, identify abnormal trading patterns, and elevate risk events in a timely manner to ensure trading safety and client asset protection.
• Identify key issues and bottlenecks across the end-to-end trading journey (onboarding, funding, trading, client servicing, operations) and drive systematic improvements.
• Continuously optimize the stability, efficiency, and client experience of trading processes; ensure effective linkage between front-office trading and back-end settlement, clearing, and operations.
• Leverage data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) to monitor client trading patterns and fund movement trends, providing data-driven insights for process optimization and decision-making.
• Establish and refine practices for dealing support, order handling, incident escalation, client enquiries, and service feedback to strengthen client protection and service responsiveness.
• Handle client trading-related enquiries and complaints; coordinate with back-office operations and client service teams to resolve client issues and ensure service loop closure and client satisfaction.
• Build emergency response procedures for trading anomalies and system failures, ensuring client trading continuity and asset safety during incidents.

Delivery

• Partner with product, technology, compliance, operations, and client service teams to support local requirement definition, testing, release readiness, and post-launch optimization.
• Act as the front-office dealing point of contact, translating business needs and client feedback into product and process improvement proposals; ensure functional design balances regulatory requirements with commercial usability.
• Participate in trading-side acceptance testing and process validation for new features and product launches, ensuring the trading link meets usability standards before go-live.
• Understand and strictly execute MAS regulatory requirements for brokerage operations, including trading controls, client protection, process compliance, and operational linkage.
• Ensure daily trade execution, order processing, and client service activities comply with the MAS Representative Code of Conduct and internal compliance policies.
• Support the compliance team in trading-related audits, reporting, and regulatory examinations; ensure complete, traceable trade records meeting regulatory record-keeping requirements.
• Understand the trading mechanisms and client needs of options, ETFs, fixed income, and other multi-asset products to support platform product expansion.
• Provide trading-side professional support for front-office trading feature launches (e.g., US options, margin financing), including requirement definition, process design, testing, and post launch operations.
• Continuously track market product developments and peer platform trading feature evolution, providing professional input for platform trading capability building.
