Job summary

Drake International in Singapore seeks a senior leader to head daily dealing activities for investment products on our digital trading platform. You will ensure timely, accurate client order execution, and uphold MAS and internal policies while building strong links with exchanges and brokers.

You will collaborate across Compliance, Risk, Audit, Operations, Technology, and Finance to ensure robust governance and operational efficiency, while coaching the dealing team toward a client-focused,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field.
• CFA, CMFAS or other relevant professional qualifications beneficial.
• Minimum 10 years in brokerage, securities dealing, capital markets, wealth management, or related sectors.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership or supervisory dealing role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily dealing activities for all investment products on the company’s digital trading platform.
• Ensure timely, accurate client order execution with high service standards.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily dealing activities for all investment products available on the Company's digital trading platform.
• Ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely execution of client orders while maintaining high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, exchange rules, and internal policies and procedures.
• Maintain strong working relationships with exchanges, brokers, market counterparties, and other external stakeholders.
• Support the growth of the brokerage and digital trading business by working closely with the Business Development team to increase trading activity, client engagement, and revenue opportunities.
• Identify market trends, business opportunities, and new initiatives to enhance the Company's trading offerings and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Audit, Operations, Technology, and Finance teams to ensure effective governance and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop the dealing team while fostering a high-performance, client-focused, and compliant culture.
• Provide regular management reports and updates on trading performance, business developments, key risks, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• CFA, CMFAS, or other relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in brokerage, securities dealing, capital markets, wealth management, investment banking, fintech, or other financial services sectors.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or supervisory dealing role.
• Strong understanding of brokerage operations, securities trading, digital trading platforms, capital markets, and related regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with algorithmic execution, order management systems (OMS), trading platforms, and digital brokerage technologies.
• Strong knowledge of risk management practices and operational controls within brokerage and trading environments.
• Experience working with institutional clients, intermediaries, distribution partners, or online brokerage platforms will be highly advantageous.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving business, operations, technology, and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, commercial, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to balance commercial objectives with operational, risk, and regulatory considerations in a dynamic business environment.
