Job summary

ATOP Academy Pte. Ltd. seeks an engaging Biology tutor to plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE secondary syllabus. You will assess learning needs and tailor plans to maximise outcomes, teaching Biology and/or lower-secondary Science depending on your expertise.

As part of ATOP Academy, you will develop students' understanding of scientific inquiry, data analysis, and practical applications, guiding them through assessments and examinations with constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Education, Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong Biology knowledge and/or lower-secondary Science.
• Familiarity with MOE Singapore syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Passion for teaching and supporting secondary school students.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Biology lessons aligned with Singapore MOE secondary syllabus.
• Assess students' learning needs and customise lesson plans to maximise learning outcomes.

• Develop students' curiosity, critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' academic progress.
• Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and practical learning activities.

Requirements

• GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Singapore MOE Secondary Science syllabus and assessment requirements.
