Job summary

One World International School Singapore is seeking a qualified Business Management teacher to deliver IB Diploma and IGCSE curricula across Secondary levels, with differentiated, inquiry-based learning and strong classroom management.

You will collaborate with colleagues, assess student progress, and uphold IB Learner Profile values while participating in school activities to support a vibrant, inclusive community on OWIS campuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher.
• Strong knowledge and proven experience teaching Business Management at Secondary/IGCSE/IB levels.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and deliver Business Management lessons across Secondary and IB Diploma.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop differentiated lesson plans and assessments.
• Assess and report student progress with formative and summative evaluations and communicate outcomes to students and parents.
• Promote IB Learner Profile values and school core values in all interactions.
• Lead or participate in extracurricular activities and school events to foster a vibrant community.

Job Summary

At One World International School (OWIS), you will teach and educate students across Secondary and IB Diploma levels, delivering differentiated, inquiry-based learning that supports diverse learner needs and promotes the IB Learner Profile and school values.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and deliver Business Management lessons for Secondary and IB Diploma students that enhance learner understanding and engagement through inquiry-based methods
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop differentiated lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
• Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative evaluations, set measurable improvement goals, and communicate outcomes effectively to students and parents through detailed reports and meetings
• Promote and model the attributes and attitudes of the IB Learner Profile and consistently uphold the school’s core values in all teaching and interactions
• Lead or actively participate in extracurricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training sessions, and meetings to foster a vibrant school community
• Implement and adhere to school policies and best practices to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all students
• Teach across the full Secondary age range, including IGCSE and IB Diploma curricula, adapting instructional approaches to meet diverse cultural backgrounds and learning needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
• Bachelor’s degree and a Professional Degree in Teaching or equivalent teaching qualification certificates (PGDE, PGCE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma), Valid Teacher License, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge and proven experience teaching Business Management at Secondary, IGCSE, and IB levels
• High proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively deliver curriculum and communicate with stakeholders
• As we are expanding rapidly we are looking for some highly motivated and passionate teachers
