Job summary

ZEISS in Singapore is seeking a Senior Procurement Leader to design and govern procurement strategies, policies and governance across global and APAC regions. You will oversee budgeting, risk management, and supplier relations to ensure compliant, cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

You will lead a small team, mentor procurement specialists, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
• APICS CSCP certification.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience.
• Experience managing a small team (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement procurement strategies and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
• Develop governance measures and audit procedures.
• Review audits on trade documents and contracts to reduce risk.
• Develop vendor selection and evaluation workflows.
• Establish vendor relationships and collaborations.
• Endorse and manage long-term vendor contracts.
• Drive cost optimization and continuous process improvements.
• Oversee procurement budget and KPIs across teams.
• Monitor performance to cut costs and mitigate risks.
