Job summary

SP Group is seeking a Senior Corporate Finance professional to join our team in Singapore. The role involves supporting district cooling/renewable energy investments, building robust financial models, and preparing strategic proposals for acquisitions and joint ventures regionally.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in corporate finance or related areas, strong modelling skills, and a balanced commercial and analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business with good academic results; CFA is a plus.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, M&A, project finance, investments in district cooling/heating, energy or infrastructure assets, capital markets, audit or transaction services.
• Advanced financial modelling skills with experience building complete and complex models; a testing process will assess this.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with solid corporate finance and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform business and commercial reviews, asset/project valuation, and investment analysis to support strategic plans and proposals.
• Build, run and review financial models; prepare management presentations for projects, investments, acquisitions and regional joint ventures.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and execute transactions including deal strategy, due diligence, documentation review, and integration planning.
• Support MD and business development teams in competitive bids, bilateral transactions, and organic development projects.
• Liaise with internal teams and external advisers to progress deals to completion and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
• Prepare management reports and board materials on investment operations and performance.
• Conduct industry and regulatory research and maintain a database of analyses.
• Assist periodic strategic reviews of portfolio assets to optimise returns and redeploy capital.
