Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking an experienced software testing leader to drive automation and testing of an in-house pricing and trade processing platform for the Financial Markets business. You will coordinate global teams, design test strategies, and lead automation efforts across Selenium, Cucumber and API testing.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Java, API testing, SQL and CI/CD, with strong collaboration across onshore and offshore teams. This is a full-time position based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software test design and testing methodologies.
• Experience leading the Automation Project and working independently.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Copilot) for prompt engineering and framework integration.
• Strong knowledge of Java, API testing, SQL and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, WebDriver & Cucumber, XML, Cypress.
• GIT/ADO Repos and ADO/Confluence/Boards/Test Plan.
• Familiar with DevOps CI/CD (Jenkins/Groovy/YAML/ADO Pipeline).
• Strong understanding of Java/JEE tech stack based applications.
• Integration experience with API, FTP, Web services & Solace Messaging.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product management, project management and development teams to understand testing objectives.
• Coordinate between onshore & offshore teams.
• Troubleshoot and triage issues to drive root cause identification and resolution.
• Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts for business and technical use cases.
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for testing/validation.
• Develop and lead the automation strategy and generate scripts for automated testing cycles using Selenium and Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Should co-ordinate between onshore & offshore teams
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
• Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium & Cucumber
