Job summary

Mediacorp Pte. Ltd., Singapore's leading content creator and national media network, is seeking a Tamil content writer and scripter.

You will conceptualise content for TV and digital platforms, write proposals for single and serial dramas, and craft scripts across genres including dramas, kids, info-ed, entertainment, and digital stories. The role requires 3-5 years of writing and scripting experience, a Diploma/Degree in Media or related fields, and fluency in English and Tamil for business

• Excellent writing skills.
• 3-5 years of writing and scripting experience.
• Strong interest in television and media.
• Bilingual in English and Tamil for business purposes.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and with the public.

• Write content scripts for various genres: dramas, children's, info-ed, entertainment, as assigned; as well as scripts for interstitials, trailers and digital stories uploads
• Prepare concept submissions for pitching and management presentations
• Produce generic and episodic storylines
