Job summary

Mondelèz International Singapore seeks a researcher to lead RDQ activities for new product development, portfolio maintenance and productivity projects, translating consumer insights into viable solutions.

You will plan and drive consumer-led specifications, coordinate pilot plant and factory trials, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP while moving ideas to market.

Qualifications

• Food science, science, or engineering background with FMCG exposure.
• Experience applying GMP and HACCP principles within product development.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into commercially viable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership – plan, lead, and coordinate technical projects with cross-functional teams.
• Process Design & Deployment – drive design and deployment for innovation and cost optimization.
• Consumer-Led Specifications – create and maintain consumer-driven specs.
• Stakeholder Management – influence decisions based on data insights.
• Technical Networks – build internal and external technical collaborations.
• Pilot & Factory Trials – plan and coordinate trials per GMP/HACCP.

Working as part of a cross functional team, you lead and deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.You will drive consumer-led product development from concept through commercialization, translating strategic business objectives and consumer insights into commercially viable solutions.

What you need to know about this position:

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Project Leadership– Work independently to plan, lead, and coordinate technical projects in line with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing requirements

• Process Design & Deployment– Lead RDQ activities required to complete process design and deployment for innovation, growth, and cost optimization projects across multiple geographies, with emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience

• Consumer-Led Specifications– Create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications

• Stakeholder Management– Influence decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results

• Technical Networks– Establish internal and external technical networks and interact independently with relevant leaders and stakeholders

• Pilot & Factory Trials– Plan, lead, and coordinate pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with GMP and HACCP requirements

• Communication– Effectively communicate project status and risks to cross-functional teams

• I2M Process– Strong understanding of Idea to Market (I2M or similar) process and proven ability to drive projects from concept through commercialization in collaboration with cross-functional partner
