Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. invites a Teacher Aide to support the Science Rooms, prepare materials for lessons and assist in experiments. You will help maintain hydroponics systems and ensure resources are well organized.

The role requires at least two years in a Science Room or similar setting, with a Diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in English. Gardening experience with hydroponics is preferred, along with good teamwork and time management.

Qualifications

• The Teacher Aide must have at least two years of relevant experience in a Science Room or laboratory.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Basic computer literacy; proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement, organisation, maintenance and administration of Science Room resources.
• Prepare materials for Science lessons and experiments.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of apparatus and equipment.
• Maintain hydroponics systems and related equipment.
• Assist in preparation and conduct of Science-related programmes and events.
• Support activities at the Science Enrich Corner and keep area tidy.
• Perform other Science Room duties as assigned.
