Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Science Room Assistant in Singapore to support the Science Department with resources, equipment and activities. The role involves preparing materials, maintaining hydroponics systems and assisting teachers during lessons and events.

Candidates should have a diploma or equivalent, at least two years' relevant experience, and strong English communication skills. Basic Office software proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a Science Room, Science laboratory or similar educational setting.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience in gardening/hydroponics is an advantage.
• Good organisational, time-management and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement, organisation and maintenance of Science Room resources, materials and equipment.
• Assist with stock-taking and ensure Science Rooms and equipment are clean, organised and well-maintained.
• Prepare materials, apparatus and equipment for Science lessons and practical activities.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of Science equipment where required.
• Maintain and care for the school's hydroponics systems.
• Assist teachers with Science-related programmes, activities and events.
• Support the Science Enrich Corner and other Science Room-related duties as assigned.
