Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support science laboratory lessons and programmes.

• Manage safe disposal of waste materials.
• Keep laboratories and storerooms clean and organized.
• Ensure laboratory safety, report incidents and maintain records.
• Replenish supplies and ensure first-aid boxes are stocked.
• Perform filing, equipment maintenance and general housekeeping duties.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Contract Period:

1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027 (renewable)

Working Hours:

• Monday, Tuesdays, Fridays: 7.00AM to 5.00PM
• Wednesday, Thursdays: 7.00AM to 4.30PM

Working hours may be adjusted to meet school's needs

Job scope:

• Prepare and support Science laboratory lessons, enrichment programmes, and competitions
• Maintain and label Science resources, laboratory apparatus, and inventory records
• Maintain and replenish laboratory equipment, materials, and specimens
• Manage the safe disposal of waste materials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Science laboratories and storerooms
• Ensure laboratory safety, report incidents, and maintain incident records
• Replenish laboratory supplies and ensure first-aid boxes are adequately stocked
• Perform filing, equipment maintenance, and general housekeeping duties
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a school environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly learn and adapt to new IT systems and technologies
