Job summary

Yellow Ribbon is seeking a dedicated Science Laboratory Assistant to prepare materials, set up and maintain two science rooms and a Makerspace. You will manage inventory, ensure safety, and support purchasing of resources for lessons and activities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in science labs or education, can communicate with teachers via WhatsApp, and are proficient with Word, Excel and Google Sheets. Hours are 7:30 AM–2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, on-site in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Able to handle primary school science laboratory apparatus safely.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic spoken and written English; able to communicate with teachers through WhatsApp.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in science laboratories, primary schools or science education.
• GCE O-Level Science grade C6 or better, basic Microsoft Word and Excel, and Google Sheets skills are preferred.
