Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support science laboratories with general cleanliness, equipment setup, and resource preparation in collaboration with teachers.

You will manage inventories, track budget and resources usage, run termly stock takes, record loans, and assist with equipment maintenance and simple troubleshooting as directed by the HOD and school leaders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of the science laboratories.
• Prepare teaching resources (including tools/equipment/materials/apparatus and any learning or training kits) in collaboration with teachers.
• Manage inventory to maintain sufficient stock and procure of new equipment/materials/components when necessary while tracking the budget and resources utilisation in the Science Laboratories
• Demonstrate competence in use of equipment/machines as well as simple troubleshooting.
• Conduct specific experiments as per HOD’s instructions.
• Conduct termly store stock take for scientific equipment/material/apparatus.
• Track faulty equipment/materials that need to be replaced.
• Maintain a record of the loaning out of equipment/materials/apparatus to teachers.
• Update database of science resources which include diagrams and pictures.
• Any other duties assigned by HOD and school leaders.
