Job summary

ECO-ITS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a school support staff in Singapore to assist Science teachers with lab preparation and to support classroom activities.

The role includes maintaining lab cleanliness, helping procure materials and equipment, supervising outdoor garden areas, and providing administrative support during school terms and holidays. Fresh graduates are welcome and prior school experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• ITE/GCE N level certificate is required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Possess a positive attitude and dedication to work.
• Experience working in school is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist subject teachers in preparation of Science lab and science apparatus for lessons.
• Assist subject teachers in conducting experiments and Science
• Carry out practical tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the lab, equipment and ready for class use
• Collect and return items borrowed from Science Lab with proper recording
• Assist in procuring items, materials, apparatus and chemicals for lab
• Maintain records for Science Room inventory
• Assist in outdoor learning trails conducted by the school
• Water plants in Eco and Racial Harmony Garden; report to HOD Science if issues arise
• Monitor and supervise Eco and Racial Harmony Garden landscaping and pond maintenance; highlight focus areas to contractors and sign off on maintenance
• Provide support in admin matters
• Assist in Teaching Resource Preparation for subjects other than Science to record job done
• Feed and clean tortoise enclosures in Racial Harmony Garden
• Provide support to ensure students enter and leave the school safely; assist with preparing materials and resources for other departments during holidays
• Provide OSO support (cleaning, housekeeping, packing, supervising students) during school holidays as required
