LAMBDA COMPUTING SOLUTIONS (S) PTE. LTD.

in Bishan, Singapore is seeking a proactive Teacher Aide cum Admin to support the Science Laboratory, CCA Robotics, and related admin tasks at an MOE primary school near Bishan MRT. You will coordinate procurement, set up materials, maintain hydroponics systems, and assist in science programs, with close collaboration to HOD/LH-Science, Vice Principal, and school leaders.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of gardening experience, preferably with hydroponics systems.
• A diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage Science Room resources and tasks systematically.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command in English.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement, organisation, maintenance and administration of resources for the Science Rooms, including the purchase of materials and equipment, stock-taking of apparatus, materials and teaching resources, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Science Rooms and their equipment.
• Prepare materials, apparatus and equipment required for Science lessons, practical activities and experiments.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of apparatus and equipment used for Science lessons, where appropriate.
• Maintain and care for the school’s hydroponics systems and related equipment.
• Assist in the teachers’ preparation and conduct of Science-related school programmes, activities and events.
• Support activities conducted at the Science Enrich Corner and ensure that the area and its resources are kept clean, organised and well-maintained.
• Perform other Science Room-related duties as reasonably assigned by the School.
