Job summary

Knightsbridge House International School is seeking a caring School First Aider/Nurse to support the health, safety and well-being of our students. The successful candidate will provide first aid and basic emergency care, maintain students' medical records, support health-related matters within the school and assist with general student support and school administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Healthcare, Nursing, or equivalent; candidates with Advanced First Aid certification may be considered.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing qualification/certification.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Prior experience in a school/educational setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Attend to students injured or unwell during school hours and provide first aid or emergency care as required.
• Assist with management of illnesses and infectious disease cases on campus, including HFMD and COVID-19.
• Communicate illnesses, injuries, and accidents to parents and staff.
• Inform parents/guardians promptly when a student is injured or unwell.
• Accompany students to clinic or hospital in emergencies when needed.
• Monitor student well-being during recess, lunch, and playtime.
