Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services seeks a School Food Lab Assistant to support food preparation, cooking lessons and laboratory activities in a partner school in Singapore. You will assist with orders, ingredient prep and maintain stock and cleanliness in the food lab.

The role requires a WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certification, prefers candidates with school or Nutrition & Food Science lab experience, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Course Level 1 (WSQ) certification is required.
• Relevant experience in a school or Nutrition & Food Science laboratory is preferred.
• Inventory or food laboratory experience is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with food preparation, cooking lessons and laboratory activities.
• Assist with food orders, delivery checks and preparation of ingredients.
• Maintain food supplies, conduct stock checks and stocktakes.
• Clean and maintain food laboratories, kitchen areas, utensils and equipment.
• Ensure proper food and kitchen safety practices are observed.
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the School.
