Job summary

GESS - German European School Singapore is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to support events on campus, ensuring lighting, sound and projection are prepared and provided on-site. You will work with teachers, staff and external freelancers to deliver high-quality productions.

The role involves training students in AV skills, maintaining equipment, and promoting safe practices while supporting rehearsals and school activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in theatre, education sector, or arts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and provide on-site audio visual and lighting support for events.
• Set up, maintain and operate AV and lighting equipment during events.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are upheld during duties.
• Train and supervise students or interns to use AV equipment.
• Coordinate with staff, contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
