Job summary

Peoplebank Asia is seeking an experienced Scheduler/Senior Scheduler to support major data centre construction projects in Singapore. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close-out, tracking progress and analysing critical paths.

The role requires 5+ years in scheduling for complex construction, strong CPM knowledge and proficiency with Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud, with an expectation to guide junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years scheduling/ planning experience on complex construction projects.
• Experience with data centre projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling and baselines.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or OPC scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close-out.
• Define activities, sequencing, durations, dependencies, milestones and critical paths.
• Track progress and analyse actual performance vs planned schedules.
• Identify schedule risks, delays and constraints; propose mitigations.

• Integrate contractor and supplier schedules into the overall project schedule.
• Provide guidance to junior schedulers and support project leadership on schedule strategy.

Scheduler / Senior Scheduler – Data Centre Projects

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: 12 Months Contract

We are looking for an experienced Scheduler / Senior Scheduler to support major data centre construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, analysing critical paths, identifying schedule risks and supporting recovery planning across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close-out.
• Define activities, sequencing, durations, dependencies, milestones and critical paths.
• Track project progress and analyse actual performance against planned schedules.
• Identify schedule risks, delays and constraints, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Conduct what-if analysis, schedule impact assessments and scenario planning.
• Develop recovery and acceleration schedules when required.
• Review and integrate contractor and supplier schedules into the overall project schedule.
• Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, forecasts and milestone updates for project stakeholders.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Maintain schedule baselines, historical data, assumptions and supporting documentation.
• Use Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) or equivalent scheduling systems.
• For senior-level positions, provide technical guidance to junior schedulers and support project leadership on schedule strategy and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Planning or Project Controls.
• Relevant experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls:
  • Junior: Minimum 2 years
  • Senior: Minimum 5 years
  • Lead: Minimum 10 years
• Experience in construction projects, preferably data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, critical path, dependencies, milestones, baselines and progress measurement.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
• Strong analytical, numerical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience reviewing contractor schedules and managing multiple workstreams is preferred for senior-level candidates.
