Job summary

Palico Biotech Pte Ltd is seeking a Bioprocess Engineer to lead the genetic architecture of the OmniCell™ platform. You will engineer “off-the-shelf” mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and oversee multiplexed gene-editing strategies to ensure their therapeutic potency.

Responsibilities include leading CRISPR protocol development, conducting flow cytometry, and supervising a team. Ideal candidates hold a PhD in a relevant field and have over 5 years of experience in mammalian cell engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell engineering.
• Expertise in non-viral delivery methods (electroporation/nanoparticles).
• Deep understanding of the biology of MSCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of CRISPR-Cas12b and base-editing protocols.
• Conduct high-throughput flow cytometry and NGS to verify edit efficiency.
• Supervise a team of junior researchers and lab technicians.
