Job summary

AZBIL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an IBMS Engineer (SCADA) to support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SCADA and IBMS platforms across projects in Singapore.

The role focuses on standardization, configuration, documentation, and QA to enhance reliability and engineering efficiency. You will collaborate with project engineers and technical leaders to develop standardized practices, maintain software libraries, and contribute to innovative solutions for project

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related automation discipline.
• At least 3 years configuring, architecting, and troubleshooting SCADA software.
• Hands-on Niagara Framework and/or ICONICS experience including configuration, graphics, alarms, reporting.
• Experience integrating industrial automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA).
• Strong SQL/database configuration, history logs, alarm management.
• Good communication and ability to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve SCADA/IBMS standards, templates, graphics libraries, and alarms for consistency across projects.
• Configure, test, commission, and troubleshoot SCADA/IBMS systems and databases.
• Prepare technical documentation, guidelines, procedures, and handover material.
• Perform QA/QC activities including reviews, testing, and compliance checks.
• Provide site support and troubleshooting through software configuration and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, project teams, and sales to evaluate new technologies and proposals.
