Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive testing across Finance data, GL, and reporting domains in Singapore. The role covers SIT, UAT, End-to-End, Regression and production verification testing with emphasis on data validation and reconciliations.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage test data and environments, and report progress to senior stakeholders while advancing automation and standardized validation practices.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in Finance testing, GL, and Financial reporting.
• Proven ability in SAS, ETL, data migration and report-validation testing.
• Experience overseeing SIT, UAT, End-to-End, Regression and production verification testing.
• Strong understanding of source-to-target validation, transformation rules and financial reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy, scope, and execution plan.
• Establish entry/exit criteria across all test phases.
• Lead SIT, UAT, End-to-End, Regression and production verification testing.
• Coordinate testing across SAS processing, source systems, data warehouses, and reporting layers.
• Ensure coverage of financial calculations, transformations, aggregations, reconciliations, and controls.
• Coordinate test-data prep and environment readiness.
• Manage test execution, progress, defects, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Lead defect triage and drive timely resolutions of critical defects.
• Collaborate with Finance, Business, Analysts, Developers, Data Engineers, Architects, Operations and Vendors.
• Track KPIs, defect metrics, and quality trends; report to governance and stakeholders.
• Manage onsite and offshore test teams and ensure delivery accountability.
• Support UAT planning, business-user coordination and sign-off.
• Assess release readiness and provide go-live recommendations.
• Support deployment, production verification, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and reusable data-validation assets.
