Job summary

ABEAM CONSULTING (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is looking for an experienced ABAP Developer to lead design and optimization for S/4HANA systems. You will focus on developing solutions using ABAP Objects and SAP BUILD, while supporting application interfaces and collaborating with functional teams.

Ideal candidates will possess strong expertise in ABAP and S/4HANA development, alongside excellent problem-solving abilities. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in S/4HANA ABAP development and custom code adaptation.
• Good understanding of CDS Views and SAP BUILD.
• Exposure to SAP BTP and cloud integrations is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end ABAP design, development, and optimization for S/4HANA systems
• Drive custom code remediation and optimization for S/4HANA migration
• Design and develop solutions using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services
• Develop and enhance applications using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Build and support application on SAP BUILD and SAP Business process Automation (BPA).
• Design and developed SAP BTP workflows.
• Must have hands-on experience working on SAP Public Cloud implementations
• Work on SAP Fiori/UI5 backend services and integrations.
• Build and support interfaces using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Proxy, REST, and SOAP APIs
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and clean-core principles
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to junior developers
• Support production issues and lead root-cause analysis

Requirements:

• S/4HANA ABAP development & custom code adaptation
• CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption, Analytical)
• SAP BUILD
• SAP Business Process Automation.
• Good understanding of AMDP & HANA SQLScript
• RAP / EML is preferred
• OData Services (SEGW / RAP-based)
• SAP Fiori backend enablement
• IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Proxies
• REST / SOAP APIs
• Exposure to SAP BTP, CAP, or cloud integrations is preferred
• Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori frontend and knowledge of Clean Core principles are a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to mentor and guide junior analyst
