Job summary

K2 Partnering Solutions Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced SAP Ariba Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end design, integration, and deployment of SAP Ariba solutions across client ecosystems in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total IT experience, with 5+ years dedicated to SAP Ariba architecture and implementation in an enterprise consulting environment.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying & Invoicing, and Ariba Network.
• Proven track record of configuring SAP Ariba CIG, SAP BTP, and integrating Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• Hands-on experience with cXML, Web Services, APIs, Master Data Integration (MDI), and Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols.
• SAP Certified Application Associate/Specialist in SAP Ariba is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills, capable of bridging technical teams and executive procurement leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end technical solutions connecting SAP Ariba Cloud applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and non-SAP ERP systems using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) / SAP Integration Suite.
• Lead custom data mapping, schema extensions, interface protocols (cXML, Web Services, REST APIs), and middleware configuration.
• Design complex approval workflows, custom forms, and rules within Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Procurement modules.
• Perform system optimization, troubleshoot complex technical issues, oversee environment cutover activities, and manage release cycles across multi-tier landscapes.
• Establish technical standards, code quality frameworks, and security/compliance protocols for client integrations.
• Translate complex enterprise procurement requirements into scalable SAP Ariba architectures and drive design workshops.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Solutions Architect to join our Global Enterprise Applications practice. In this role, you will lead end-to-end design, integration, and deployment of SAP Ariba solutions.

This role requires a balanced mix of expertise Functional Architecture (procurement process optimization, business requirement alignment, solution design) and Technical Architecture (CIG/Integration Suite configurations, custom interfaces, workflows, and extension design).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end technical solutions connecting SAP Ariba Cloud applications (Upstream & Downstream) with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and non-SAP ERP systems using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) / SAP Integration Suite.

• Lead custom data mapping, schema extensions, interface protocols (cXML, Web Services, REST APIs), and middleware configuration.

• Design complex approval workflows, custom forms, and rules within Ariba Strategic Sourcing and Procurement modules.

• Perform system optimization, troubleshoot complex technical issues, oversee environment cutover activities, and manage release cycles across multi-tier landscapes.

• Establish technical standards, code quality frameworks, and security/compliance protocols for client integrations.

Functional & Business Architecture

• Translate complex enterprise procurement requirements into scalable, best-in-practice SAP Ariba solution architectures.

• Drive solution design workshops, blueprinting sessions, and executive playback demos with C-level stakeholders and procurement leaders.

• Define target operating models for Source-to-Pay (S2P), Direct/Indirect Procurement, Supplier Management, and Contract Lifecycle Management.

• Guide clients on process optimization, change management, and adoption of SAP Ariba standard functionality to minimize custom enhancements.

• Act as the technical authority during pre-sales activities, assisting with RFPs, effort estimations, and client pitches.

• Mentor team members, review technical deliverables, and drive practice asset creation (reusable components, solution accelerators).
