Job summary

Labcorp in Singapore is seeking a Sample Coordinator to join our Bioanalytical team. The role involves coordinating receipt, tracking, processing, shipment, and documentation of clinical trial samples to ensure compliance with study protocols and GLP standards.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in science and have internship exposure in diagnostic laboratories, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science from an accredited college or university.
• 3 months or more internship exposure in commercial/diagnostic/analytical laboratories.
• Preferred: knowledge of GLP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, tracking, processing, shipment, and documentation of clinical trial samples.
• Receive, accession, track, label, store, ship, and dispose of clinical samples.
• Verify sample inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate sample receipt status and manage sample-related documentation.
• Sample tracking, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordinate sample logging and receipt confirmation activities.
• Maintain study records, laboratory documentation, and department logbooks.
• Manage reference materials and matrices inventory.
• Support after-hours sample receipt and environmental monitoring activities.
• Support project activities, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating the receipt, tracking, processing, shipment, and documentation of clinical trial samples to ensure they are handled according to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Receive, accession, track, label, store, ship, and dispose of clinical samples.
• Verify sample inventory accuracy and resolve or escalation discrepancies.
• Communicate sample receipt status and manage sample-related documentation.
• Sample tracking, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordination of sample logging and receipt confirmation activities.
• Maintain study records, laboratory documentation, and department logbooks.
• Manage reference materials and matrices inventory.
• Support after-hours sample receipt and environmental monitoring activities.
• Support project activities, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science from an accredited college or university.
• 3 months or more experience of internship exposure in commercial/diagnostic/analytical laboratories.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of clinical trials and clinical research and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
