Job summary

LALALAND CITY OF STARS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Beauty & Hair Salon Manager to oversee daily salon operations, lead a team of stylists and beauty therapists, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

In this role you will manage staff schedules, inventory, and service quality while meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a customer‑oriented mindset in a fast‑paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in the hair, beauty or salon industry, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of salon operations and customer service.
• Good leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the beauty and hair salon.
• Supervise, motivate and manage salon staff, including hairstylists and beauty therapists.
• Prepare staff schedules, work rosters and manage leave and attendance.
• Ensure the salon maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Oversee customer appointments, enquiries, feedback and service recovery.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure consistent service quality.
• Manage salon inventory, including hair, beauty and retail products.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchasing and replenishment.
• Assist in achieving monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Promote salon services, packages and products to customers.
• Monitor daily sales, cash collection and basic operational records.
• Train and coach staff on customer service, salon procedures and service standards.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure all salon equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Ensure the salon complies with relevant workplace, safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the business owner/directors on operational improvements and business development.
• Perform other duties related to the smooth operation of the salon as required.
