NYRA INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Salon Operations Manager to oversee daily openings and closings, manage appointments and staff availability, and coordinate resources to deliver prompt, fair service.

You will lead a team, maintain service standards, handle client concerns, monitor sales and retail performance, ensure hygiene and SOP compliance, and support training. The role requires a hands-on leader focused on consistent, high-quality client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily opening, operations and closing of the salon.
• Monitor appointments, walk-ins and staff availability throughout the day.
• Coordinate staff allocation to ensure clients are attended to promptly and fairly.
• Manage peak periods and make operational adjustments when required.
• Escalate operational issues to Management promptly.
• Supervise staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and professional conduct.
• Encourage teamwork and prevent disagreements or internal discussions from affecting the client experience.
• Ensure staff follow assigned duties, responsibilities and salon SOPs.
• Check that services are being delivered according to salon standards.
• Handle client concerns professionally and work towards an immediate service recovery where appropriate.
• Maintain a calm and professional salon environment at all times.
• Coordinate appointments, walk-ins, staff availability and room availability.
• Ensure client records and appointment information are accurately maintained.
• Monitor the team's daily service and retail sales performance.
• Encourage appropriate service upgrades, add-ons and retail recommendations.
• Track progress towards individual and salon sales targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve client retention.
• Ensure all services are performed according to salon's approved procedures and timings.
• Conduct regular spot checks on service quality.
• Support new staff during their training and integration into salon operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the salon.
• Monitor product and equipment handling to minimise wastage or damage.
• Monitor daily usage of professional products, consumables and retail stock.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation when required.
