Job summary

SANMARIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Sales Supervisor to lead the day-to-day activities of the sales team, coordinating with store and production managers to meet targets and ensure customer needs are understood and addressed.

You will develop sales strategies, prepare presentations, manage client communications, and help build brand visibility through activations and trade shows, while continuously evaluating team performance and market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis on marketing.
• Proven marketing experience and achieving set targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lead and motivate a sales team and retain a great team.
• Excellent selling skills and ability to close deals.
• People-oriented with the ability to motivate a team.
• Identify growth opportunities and new business partnerships.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work within opening hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of the sales team including marketing activities like product activations.
• Assist the line manager to recruit, training, enumerating, and retaining a competent sales team.
• Provide reports to top management like sales reports, lead generation reports, customer complaints reports, and new customers’ on-boarded reports.
• Prepare sales presentations and other sales tools.
• Assist the line managers to ensure adequate client communication, maintain contacts with clients and provide feedback.
• Initiate sales activities, strategies, and sales plans required to build brand visibility.
• Serve as a reference for employees on work ethic and professional conduct.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, pricing, sales activities, and active clients.
• Control company marketing expenses to keep within budget.
• Attend trade shows and represent the organization.
• Evaluate the performance of the sales team and seek improvements.
• Identify market trends and potential future impacts on performance.
• Ensure items are displayed correctly in malls, supermarkets, and other sales points.
