Job summary

Advantest Corporation is seeking a Sales Support Specialist in Singapore to partner with the Asia Sales organization. You will own the order life cycle from Quote to Cash, ensuring excellent customer experience while upholding financial integrity and controls.

Key duties include preparing formal quotations, reviewing contract terms, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to drive on-time shipments and revenue recognition under IFRS15.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of sales administration experience.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (verbal & written).
• Detail oriented with strong communication and prioritization skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure with professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce CPQ and Oracle R12 preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome; level scoped accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales in preparing Formal Quotation and Order Acceptance ensuring compliance with policies and audit controls.
• Advise Sales on deal structure and contract terms; escalate issues to business partners as needed.
• Manage customer order lifecycle from Quote to Cash (Quote, Build, Ship, Invoice); coordinate with customers, sales, logistics, finance, legal.
• Monitor shipment backlog and identify order/revenue risk for management review.
• Oversee Revenue and AR management, including Letter of Credit operations under IFRS15 guidelines.
• Support ad-hoc deployments for process/policy improvements and high-workload periods.

Job description

The Sales Support Specialist is a customer-interfacing role, working in close partnership with our Asia Sales organization to manage won business opportunities. This role requires ownership of managing Customers’ order life cycle from Quote-To-Cash activities. The candidate is expected to deliver excellent customer experience while upholding Advantest’s financial integrity and business controls.

Key Responsibilities and duties:

• Support the Sales organization in preparing Formal Quotation & Order Acceptance, ensuring the deal negotiation is compliant with Advantest’s company policies, guidelines and audit controls.
• Provide consultation to Sales organization on deal structure, purchase contract terms review and timely escalation of issues with the respective business partners for resolution.
• Manage customer’s order throughout its life cycle from Quote, Build, Ship to Invoice stages. Multi-tasking skillset is essential to ensure timely liaison and/or problem-solving with stakeholders (e.g.: customer, Sales teams, factory, forwarders, Logistics, Finance, Legal etc.).
• Contribute to the organization’s revenue goals through disciplined monitoring of shipment backlog and identifying potential order and revenue risk for manager’s review and/or escalation.
• Responsible for Revenue and AR management (Letter of Credit operations) based on IFRS15 revenue recognition guidelines and regulations.
• Be a versatile team player to support ad-hoc deployment during high workload situations or project assignments for business process & policies improvements.

Requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent area of study)
• Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience in Sales Administration
• Proficient in both English and Chinese languages (verbal and written) to support shared services environment
• Detail oriented, great communication skills, ability to manage priorities, enjoys teamwork and creative problem-solving.
• Works well under pressure and maintain professionalism during stressful situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Automate etc). Preferably has experience with Salesforce (Quoting/CPQ Tool) and Oracle R12.
