Job summary

SIGNATURE HAIR PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced hotel sales professional to own and grow key accounts, meet monthly and yearly revenue targets, and lead end-to-end sales activities from calls to closing deals.

The role requires 3+ years in hotel sales, a relevant degree, and strong networking and negotiation skills. Candidates should be able to travel overseas and collaborate with a broad sales team and hotel stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Holds a relevant Diploma or Degree.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel sales.
• Proven track record in room sales within hospitality.
• Self-motivated, dynamic and meticulous with results orientation.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills with a broad network.
• Excellent sales negotiation and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain all sales accounts and meet revenue targets.
• Initiate sales activities including calls, site inspections and proposals.
• Update market trends and implement programs to address changes.
• Coach and support new team members within the sales team.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries per SOPs.
• Maintain cordial relationships with clients and internal/external customers.
• Manage sales files, contacts, and internal booking reports.
• Coordinate promotions, overseas trips, trade shows and other duties.
• Build guest relations with attention to detail and personalized service.
• Support overall sales and marketing goals with cross-department cooperation.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by hotel management.

Job description

1. 1. Responsible for acquisition and maintenance of all sales accounts.
2. 2. Accomplish and meet targeted monthly and annual revenue goals set by the management.
3. 3. Initiates sales activities such as sales calls, site inspections, entertainment, presentations, prospecting, proposals and closing sales.
4. 4. Constantly updated of the key trends in the market and able to analyse market changes, under the direction of Assistant Director of Sales or Director of Sales, implement programs to meet these changes.
5. 5. Provides support and coaching to new team members within the sales team.
6. 6. Response completely and quickly to customers' inquiries. All enquiries to be handled as per hotel's standard operating procedures.
7. 7. Ensures that relations with the internal and external customers are cordial and that they are receiving satisfactory service.
8. 8. Ensures proper maintenance of sales files and client contacts and prepare internal booking reports.
9. 9. Participates and coordinates promotional, overseas sales trip, trade shows or any other assignment.
10. 10. Creates excellent guest and client relationships through attention to detail, follow through with a personalized touch and empathy for customer perceptions and needs.
11. 11. Supports overall hotel sales and marketing goals through participation in sales meeting and through co-operation and co-ordination with WorldHotel's sales representatives and sister hotels.
12. 12. Responsible to carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel and department.
