Job summary

FIRST DESIGN ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is a renovation contractor in Singapore offering basic salary plus commission.

The role involves meeting clients, drafting quotations, and delivering projects from design to construction. You will own your projects end to end and receive support behind your sales and design work. You will develop designs from concept through construction drawings and coordinate with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Interior Design/Architecture is required.
• Comfortable presenting to clients and discussing design options.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop; Enscape or SketchUp Layout a plus.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to manage a project end-to-end.
• Full-time commitment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Take leads through consultation, prepare proposals, and close deals.
• Develop designs from concept through detail design and construction drawings.
• Produce mood boards, perspectives, and renderings.
• Coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and run project meetings.
• See projects through construction — scheduling, sequencing, and site quality.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve design and technical coordination issues.

We're a renovation contractor with HDB license, set up in Y2010.

How it works

• Basic salary plus commission.
• You own your projects end to end — meeting client, work out quotation and delivery.
• We provide support behind your sales and design works

• Develop designs from concept through detail design and construction drawings
• Produce mood boards, perspectives, and renderings
• Coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and run your own project meetings
• See projects through construction — schedule, sequencing, and site quality
• Conduct site inspections and resolve design and technical coordination issues

What you bring

• ITE, Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field experiences
• Prior ID experience preferred — you should be comfortable in front of a client
• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop; Enscape or SketchUp Layout a plus
• Self-driven, organised, and able to carry a project without being chased
• Full-time commitment
