Job summary

Absolook Interior Design in Singapore seeks a dynamic designer/sales professional to translate homeowners' renovation goals into compelling design proposals. Understand client requirements, plan space usage, and prepare design proposals, quotes, and contracts through our system.

You will develop project timelines, coordinate with sub-contractors, monitor progress on-site, ensure profitability, and hand over completed projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in Interior Design or Sales; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong communication and client-follow-through skills.
• Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Coohom).

Responsibilities

• Understand homeowners’ renovation goals and project requirements.
• Plan space usage and design layouts for functionality and aesthetics.
• Prepare design proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Develop project timelines and monitor profitability against costs.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers for materials.
• Conduct site visits to monitor renovation progress and quality.
• Ensure smooth project completion and handover to homeowners.
• Support the Team Director on ad-hoc duties when required.

What You'll Do

• Understand homeowners’ renovation goals and project requirements
• Plan space usage and design layouts that enhance functionality and aesthetics
• Prepare design proposals, quotations, and contracts through our system
• Develop project timelines and ensure project profitability against costs
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers for materials and work arrangements
• Conduct site visits to monitor renovation progress and quality
• Ensure smooth project completion and handover to homeowners
• Support the Team Director on ad-hoc duties when required

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in Interior Design or Sales (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!)
• No design experience? Candidates with a strong sales background are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Coohom (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Motivated, proactive, and a strong team player who is eager to learn and grow
