Job summary

LIGHTWAY HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is looking for a Sales Engineer to support an OEM client in Singapore East. You will prepare tender quotations, respond to technical queries, and supervise tender documents while pursuing leads and closing orders.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years' experience, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Permanent placement and clear career progression are offered.

On behalf of our client, who is an Original Equipment Maker (OEM), we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as a Sales Engineer .

Responsibilities

• To prepare tender quotations for new projects.
• To respond to technical queries, supervise and check sales engineers' documents for tenders and quotations.
• To pursue sales leads, conclude orders, and initiate the internal sales process and logistics.
• To provide an update on sales activities and money collection status regularly.
• To supervise Marketing Executive(s) and support their daily duties and responsibilities.
• To check equipment condition highlighted by the Service Maintenance division via the feedback form and decide on the scope of work needed to carry out.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience of at least 3 years in preparing tender quotations.
• Proven skills in pursuing leads, closing sales, and initiating internal order processing and logistics coordination.
• Strong presentation skills and able to articulate the expectations of customers.
• A team player, able to work in a fast and dynamic environment.
