Job summary

Luxx Newhouse Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a sales-focused professional with 2–3 years of sales experience in Retail/Design/Furniture to develop client relationships and close deals. You will read architectural drawings, translate design requirements into practical proposals, and coordinate with design and operations teams to ensure feasibility and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in Retail/General, Design, Renovation, Furniture or Architectural products.
• Proven track record in selling furniture or architectural products is an advantage.
• Diploma/degree in a related design or engineering discipline preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• (1) Sales Development
• Develop and maintain relationship with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Identify new business opportunities by cultivating potential prospects and understanding market demands
• Promote and sell Luxx Newhouse’s products by contacting prospects, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
• Provide clients with information, support, and guidance while offering innovative suggestions to enhance service and profitability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to recommend product or service enhancements.
• Ensure consistent quality service by upholding company standards in all interactions.
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge through workshops, industry publications, and networking.
• (2) Technical & Design Understanding
• Read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Translate design requirements into practical solutions and proposals.
• Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Provide technical input during client discussions and presentations.
• (3) Project Coordination
• Liaise between clients, design teams, and operations to ensure alignment on project scope.
• Support project execution by clarifying design intent and technical requirements.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients.
• (4) Market & Product Knowledge
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations
• Advise clients on product suitability, design options, and technical specifications
• Provide feedback to management on market demands and client preferences.

Requirements

• minimum of 2 – 3 years of sales experience, ideally in Retail/General, Design, Renovation, Furniture, or Architectural products
• Proven track record in selling furniture or architectural products is a strong advantage.
• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Self-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Abilityto work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Own transport is preferred.
• Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period.
