Job summary

Apple Singapore is seeking a Carrier Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with our carrier partner(s) and drive joint business growth across Apple’s product and services portfolio. We collaborate with our partners to find opportunities and develop strategic plans and relationships, resulting in joint business growth and distinctive customer experiences. We are seeking a Carrier Account Manager to join our Carrier Sales team based in Singapore.

Description

This role owns Apple's strategic relationship with one of our Singapore carrier partners, and plays a critical part in Apple's sales performance and growth in the market. You will partner closely with internal and external partners, to create account plans and programmes that scale the business across a broad product and services portfolio. You set the strategic business plan with the partner’s executive leadership, design and execute the programs that move our joint business.

Responsibilities

• Build and hold relationships across key internal and external stakeholders, from working teams to the executive leadership, with a clear grasp of each stakeholder's focus areas, value drivers and priorities.
• Create account plans with the country leadership to drive achievement of targeted business objectives that are aligned between our carrier partner strategies and our country priorities.
• Work with the partner to secure competitive positioning for Apple products across all market propositions to grow the joint carrier Apple business.
• Design and negotiate demand generation and promotional programmes that grow sell-through — from concept through commercial agreement to live execution.
• Drive performance with ongoing analyses of KPIs to understand key drivers, identify opportunities and achieve forecasts on a weekly and quarterly basis. Lead the quarterly business reviews with partner stakeholders.
• Own the commercial agreements across their negotiation and renewal.
• Analyse market trends and partner capabilities to identify new opportunities.
• Build subject matter expertise across Apple's lines of business and apply it across functions to get results.
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.

Minimum Qualifications

• Consultative sales experience gained in the consumer technology or telecommunications industry, where you have balanced delivering short-term targets against building lasting value for customers and partners.
• Excellent critical, quantitative and qualitative skills, and independently solves complex problems, applying best practices and critical assessments. Owns ambiguous challenges and drives cross functional solutions with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with large and sophisticated partner organisations, including at C‑suite level.
• Expert in presenting. Cool under pressure. Experienced in making the complex simple and engaging audiences by bringing them along for the journey.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of carrier business models, economics and underlying value drivers, as well as deep knowledge of the consumer technology device and telecommunications markets and ecosystems.
• Clear ability to influence others and navigate diverse and complex stakeholder groups.
• Ability and drive to bring cross-functional teams to programmatic delivery excellence.
• Capable of working independently, and able to build and draw on strong internal and external networks.
• Experienced in delivering outcomes through internal and external collaboration.
• A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment with open dialogue and debate.
• Genuine passion and excitement for Apple products.
• Tertiary qualified, with an MBA or postgraduate qualification a plus.
