Job summary

Artemis Executive Solutions Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced WSHO to implement and maintain the WSH Management System and oversee safety on the project site.

You will lead the WSH team, conduct inspections, prepare reports and statistics, organise trainings and campaigns, and ensure compliance with MOM regulations and the WSH Act. Qualifications

• Registered WSHO/Safety Officer with MOM
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or WSH or equivalent qualification
• At least 10 years of experience in construction industry mainly for LTA Project/MRT Project
• Able to interact with subcontractors, and all levels of the Project Team
• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions
• Able to work independently and should also be a team player to meet tight project timeline
• Familiar with local authority submission works
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain WSH Management system
• Assist the WSH committee chairman, act as secretary to the committee and provide advice to the WSH Committee members in relevant to WSH matters
• Conduct team/ individual WSHE inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups and statistics
• Organize / conduct WSHE briefing/ training /WSH Campaign to all employees
• Develop and maintain the Risk Management system of the project
• To investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken into prevent any recurrence
• To recommend to the occupier of the workplace or other in charge of the workplace reasonably practicable measures. Lead the team for Safety and Environmental Management
• Oversee the development and implementation of HSE strategies, procedures, training, monitoring and reporting
• Oversee and enforce Workplace Safety & Healthy (WSH) on the project site and ensure project is executed in compliance with the WSH regulations and statutory requirements
• Enforce the implementation and establishment of HSE management system, programs and procedures on project site
• Evaluate and access the construction methodology and risk assessment in HSE aspect
• Provide advice to Project Management Team on the measures to be taken to protect safety and health of persons involved in the project
• Update and report the HSE related issues in a regular basis
• Participate in HSE programs such as audit and contractor safety networks
• Discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act
