A logistics and transportation company in Singapore is searching for a Workplace Safety and Health Officer. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, conducting training, and managing audits. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health and relevant certifications. The position primarily operates at 5C Toh Guan, with responsibilities covering multiple sites. Ensuring compliance on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters such as PPE, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations, safety requirements. Identify training needs, develop, and deliver EHS training to strengthen employees' awareness of EHS on a regular basis
Coordinate internal/ external audits and maintain EHS documents for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 Certification and etc
Ensure all EHS incidents and/or accidents are thoroughly investigated and effectively closed
Conduct EHS induction for contractors or visitors as and when necessary
Manage and/or provide guidance to contractors/sub-contractors in engaging their services and ensure safety rules are enforced during their course of work within Element's premises/sites
Prepare and submit safety reports in accordance to site requirements and also NX regional reporting in monthly basis
Establish and review risk assessments in accordance to the current Workplace Safety and Health Act's (WSHA) requirement with stakeholder
Conduct monthly WSH inspection with external consultant. Follow-up on the closure of inspection finding.
Analyse and provide statistic of safety gaps and ensure improvement according to Safety standard.
Maintain the Emergency Response Plan according to SCDF requirement which include Fire cert renewal, CERT teams structure.
Strengthen safety culture of our workforce and ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
In charge of performing daily operational activities in industrial building which includes attending to operation' enquiries, needs and complaints related to WSH inspection finding.
Ensure all Fire safety related items equipment is maintained according to regulation requirement.
Support for new customer enquiries such as new warehouse set-up requirement Responsible in performing preventive and breakdown technical support and maintenance for mechanical/electrical services, plumbing & sanitary services, Aircon servicing and maintenance, ACMV systems, chillers, and electrical control Support ad-hoc task assigned by supervisor
Minimum Diploma/Professional certification in Workplace Safety & Health Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM (Preferably) FSM certification, Biz Safety Level 2
Manage Work at Height Certificate- Assessor/ Manager (Preferably) Preferably with knowledge of local legislation e.g.WSH/SCDF/NEA Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
