Job summary

MINYO INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee safety measures and risk mitigation on site.

The role requires WSHO and ECO licences along with a minimum of 3 years of safety experience, preferably with PROCESS industry exposure. You will lead safety investigations, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects. Qualifications

• Must hold a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) licence.
• Must hold an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) licence.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Project Manager and management on safety measures and risk mitigation to maintain a safe working environment.
• Investigate workplace accidents and prepare detailed reports for management and relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Work with the Project Manager to monitor safety compliance and identify potential hazards.
• Intervene promptly to stop unsafe acts or operations and protect employees and company assets.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters and reporting requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Apply comprehensive Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) principles to enforce site safety standards.
• Communicate safety policies and recommendations effectively to team members and stakeholders.
