Job summary

DIGO CORPORATION PTE. LTD. seeks a Workplace Safety and Health professional to implement and maintain WSH policies, conduct inspections, and manage risk assessments in line with Singapore regulations.

You will train workers, monitor contractors, investigate incidents, and coordinate with authorities to uphold a safe working environment. Strong communication and MOM certification where required are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or equivalent.
• ACWSH or equivalent where applicable.
• Singapore WSH experience, preferably in construction.
• Familiarity with Singapore WSH legislation and risk-management requirements.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Able to conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
• Relevant MOM registration or certification where the position requires a registered WSH Officer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WSH policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify hazards.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend controls.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH legislation and regulations.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and trainings.
• Monitor contractors and workers for safe practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; prepare reports.
• Maintain safety records, inspections, risk assessments and permits.
• Monitor PPE usage and enforce requirements.
• Assist with emergency preparedness, drills and response procedures.
• Coordinate with management, contractors, workers and authorities on safety matters.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions and follow up on implementation.
• Support safety audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or Occupational Safety and Health.
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (ACWSH) or equivalent, where applicable.
• Relevant Singapore WSH experience, preferably in construction sector.
• Familiarity with Singapore WSH legislation and risk-management requirements.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Able to conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
• Relevant registration or certification with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) where the position requires a registered WSH Officer.
