CHINA INTERNATIONAL WATER & ELECTRIC CORPORATION (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Safety, Health and Environment professional to lead WSH compliance, risk assessment, and on-site safety management. You will implement guidelines and monitor safety systems to ensure adherence to local regulations.
Responsibilities include conducting training, investigations, and audits, and maintaining rigorous safety records for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Risk Assessment: Inspect work areas and equipment to identify hazards and evaluate potential risks.
Policy Implementation: Develop and update clear safety guidelines that match Singapore laws. Establish, implement and monitor WSH management systems on-site.
Safety Training: Educate employees on emergency procedures, first aid, and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Incident Investigation: Review accidents or near-misses to find root causes and create preventive rules. Conduct Committee meeting, safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations.
Safety Audits: Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate logs of safety performance and reports. Prepare safety reports (e.g., monthly WSH performance, near-miss analyses).
Education: A diploma or bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
Certifications: Registered MOM WSHO.ECO certificate will be a priority.
Communication: Strong speaking and training skills to explain rules clearly to staff and management.
Observational Skills: High attention to detail to spot unsafe acts or non-compliance immediately.
Singaporeans and PRs preferred.
