Job summary

Nature Landscapes Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety Executive to lead day-to-day safety on sites in Singapore. You will supervise Supervisors, train workers on SOPs, and enforce safety rules across operations.

You will investigate incidents, prepare reports, and liaise with authorities when needed. The role requires at least 2 years in safety, MS Office and project management proficiency, and relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in landscaping.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong project management knowledge.
• Level B safety coordinator or equivalent certification is preferred.
• WAH and BCSS knowledge are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety operations and supervise site Supervisors.
• Train workers to implement SOPs on safety and risk controls.
• Implement safety procedures across operations and enforce rules.
• Investigate accidents and prepare remedial action reports.
• Conduct safety inspections and report follow-up actions.
• Assist Project Manager in liaising with authorities after incidents.
• Issue Stop Work Orders when there is imminent danger.

Job description

The Safety Executive is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the sites allocated. The job holder leads the Supervisors, provides them with creative solutions to handle difficult work situations and deal with clients, as well as helps them develop their career.

Job Description

• Assist in the regular training for workers to implement SOP on safety.

• Implement safety procedures to all work operations; promote the safe conduct of work within the project and, enforce the Safety Rules & Regulations.

• Investigate accidents, put up necessary reports and recommend remedial actions.

• Conduct Safety inspections and put up reports on follow-up actions.

• Participate in project OHS risk assessments and, compile all safety records & reports.

• To assist Project Manager to liaise with the management, relevant authorities when and accident/incident occurs.

• Authorized to issue Stop Work Order (SWO), if any site work, process and/or work area is in imminent danger to workers, the public and/or pollution of the environment.

Other Duties

• To ensure teams have carried out daily toolbox adequately.

• To provide Risk Assessment and keep updates accordingly.

• To audit sites quarterly to review and troubleshoot gaps.

• To trouble shoot and resolve safety operational issues with float and/or site gardener.

• To ensure full PPE compliance is met.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar capacity, preferably within the landscaping industry

• Proficiency in MS Office and strong knowledge in project management

• Level B safety coordinator or equivalent

• Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) is preferred

• Work at Height (WAH) is preferred

• RM BizSafe Level 2 is preferred
