Job summary

SIN CHEW WOODPAQ PTE LTD is seeking a proactive WSH Officer to assist in managing Workplace Safety & Health, EHS and fire safety matters. You will promote safety awareness, conduct training, and prepare safety reports while ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will perform site inspections, implement PTW for high-risk activities, investigate incidents, and support ISO and BizSafe audits, contributing to a strong safety culture across projects.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Possess WSQ Certificate in WSH and related safety certifications.
• Certifications such as WSQ Implement Incident Management, RFEB, and CERT First Aider are an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Workplace Safety & Health, EHS and fire safety matters.
• Promote safety awareness and develop a strong safety culture.
• Conduct safety-related training and prepare reports for meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Perform daily site inspections and safety audits; take corrective actions.
• Implement and enforce Permit-To-Work (PTW) for high-risk activities.
• Investigate incidents and prepare accident reports with corrective actions.
• Support ISO and BizSafe audits and lifting plans for projects.
