Job summary

Novartis Singapore in Singapore is seeking an ITOT Engineer to lead the robotics transformation of the Tuas South site, driving development, deployment and lifecycle management of robotics solutions across manufacturing, laboratories, warehousing and material handling.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on robotics experience, strong program leadership, and stakeholder engagement to ensure GMP, validation, and cybersecurity compliance while building a scalable robotics ecosystem.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or related)
5+ years hands-on robotics experience with industrial deployments
Experience leading robotics/automation programs from concept to operation
Strong stakeholder management with global/local partners
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Knowledge of GMP, validation, safety, and cybersecurity practices (preferred)

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the site robotics strategy and roadmap; identify high-value automation opportunities.
Lead robotics programs end-to-end from assessment to value realization.
Own lifecycle of robotics solutions: operations, maintenance, upgrades, and replacements.
Evaluate and deploy robotics technologies (AMRs, AGVs, automated handling, AI-enabled robotics).
Drive cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, labs, warehousing, engineering, quality, IT/OT and global experts.
Establish governance, standards and performance monitoring for scalable, safe operations.
Ensure GMP, validation, qualification and cybersecurity compliance and inspection readiness.
Build site robotics capabilities and external partnerships with vendors and stakeholders.
