Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore is offering an internship focused on securing robotic systems, including the Fleet Manager and Robot Agents. You will assist in designing secure network architectures and evaluating communications across robot fleets.

You will gain hands-on exposure to real-world security considerations for robots deployed publicly, with opportunities to learn VAPT concepts and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• Interest in cybersecurity, network security, or IoT/OT security.
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, network architecture, common vulnerabilities).
• Basic familiarity with secure coding practices, or willingness to learn.
• Exposure to penetration testing / VAPT concepts a plus.
• Comfortable reading and working within an existing codebase to identify and remediate issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of security functions for Robotic Fleet Manager and Robot Agents.
• Assess communication and networking conditions across deployed robot fleets.
• Assist in designing secure network architecture for robot systems.
• Support pre-VAPT activities and hardening of the existing codebase.
• Gain exposure to real-world security considerations for publicly deployed robots.
